Espadrilles from Sportsdirect, Dont!

I made the mistake to by a pair of espadrilles from sportsdirect.com and after 40 days I really regretted.

Here is how they look like now :

Ok, I understand that for 5,99 pounds (at the time of purchase) you cannot receive a better quality. But frankly I am pissed of China type of quality. I am ready to give more money just to get something useful that works.

Buying Indian saree on eBay

I wanted to make a gift to my sister and decided to buy her an Indian saree from eBay.com.
But as everything on eBay there are some details that one should know when trading there. For Indian sarees most of the Buy Now offers are around $ 100, which seems like a reasonable price for a cloth made of silk.

At the same time there are many auctions that start from $ 0.99 and offer a free shipping Worldwide, even with a reliable shipping service like FedEx. And there many such low start auctions, I thought myself that I can win at least one of them.

But after participating in around ten auctions, and being the highest bidder in two of them, finally I realized what’s driving the game.

Every time I won an auction I received a message from the seller that the item is out of stock. The first time I though “oh maybe they are selling it in a physical store at the same time, which is fine”. But when I received the same message from a completely different seller I realized that that was their game.

They have a price (I think it’s maybe 50 USD) at which they will send you the clothing, but below it they will always tell you that they don’t have it.
